2007 SUMMER MEETING
New Member Nominations
Nominations of new members for
the 2007 summer induction are being accepted. Commodore members should contact
Ele Garcia for a copy of the "New Member Nomination" form; do not use old
forms. Deadline for submitting nominations has been extended to Friday,
May 18. Please follow the instructions listed below when submitting
nominees:
1. Commodore members can only sponsor/co-sponsor one candidate each calendar
year.
2. Nominees must include their full name, address, business address, telephone,
e-mail and
description of business.
3. A copy of nominees’ résumé or bio must accompany the form.
4. Sponsors must complete the section “Service to the state of Ohio deserving
appointment…”
5. Completed forms with attachments must be signed by both sponsors.
6. Initiation fees and half-year membership dues of $325.00 are due prior to the
induction ceremony.
Summer Induction Dinner and Meeting
Please ensure your nominee can
attend the summer induction dinner scheduled for Sunday evening, June 24.
This summer's induction dinner will take place in Akron at the
Portage Country Club. The general membership meeting will take place at the
Hilton Akron/Fairlawn on Monday morning, June 25. Registration details will
be mailed mid-May.
A block of guest rooms has
been reserved for Association of Ohio Commodore members at the
Hilton at a reduced rate of $99.00 (not including taxes). Reservations can be
made by June 2 by calling 800-HILTONS or 330-867-5000.
