2008 SUMMER MEETING
New Member Nominations
Nominations of new members for
the 2008 summer induction are being accepted. Commodore members should contact
Elé Garcia for a copy of the "New Member Nomination" form; do not use old
forms. Deadline for submitting nominations will be announced soon. Please follow the instructions listed below when submitting
nominees:
1. Commodore members can only sponsor/co-sponsor one candidate each calendar
year.
2. Nominees must include their full name, address, business address, telephone,
e-mail and
description of business.
3. A copy of nominees’ résumé or bio must accompany the form.
4. Sponsors must complete the section “Service to the state of Ohio deserving
appointment…”
5. Completed forms with attachments must be signed by both sponsors.
6. Initiation fees and half-year membership dues of $325.00 are due prior to the
induction ceremony.
Summer Induction Dinner and Meeting
The annual summer induction dinner and meeting will be held
in
Marietta, Sunday and Monday, June 22 and 23, 2008. The
Lafayette Hotel is the site of the new member induction dinner on Sunday
evening, June 22. The breakfast meeting will be held at the
Lafayette Hotel on Monday morning, June 23, and will feature
the Hon. Charlie Wilson, U.S. Representative (6th District).
The Association of Ohio Commodores will also induct
Mrs. Annie Glenn and
Mary Ellen Withrow into the Elite Corps during
the weekend festivities.
